We’re making changes for sellers for Spring 2012, all with the goal of making sale week run smoother, increasing the quality of items available at the sale, selling more of your items, and making more money for you!
For both Elizabethtown and Murray sellers:
Item entry, check-in slot selection, and volunteer shift selection will end at 8 PM on the Thursday before the sale. This will allow you more time to print tags and prepare items and allow us more time to check & prepare the computer system.
Long sleeved items that might be worn on Easter such as button-up dress shirts or light sweaters/windbreaker jackets will be accepted, but other long sleeved clothing and heavy, wintery fabrics such as hooded sweatshirts will not.
For Elizabethtown sellers only:
All clothing items will need to be on WIRE hangers. Plastic coated wire will be accepted, but no type of plastic hangers will be allowed. This will mean more room on the clothes racks and less volunteer time spent rehanging items from broken hangers.
Sellers will be limited to 150 items each. This will help you to choose your very best items and earn a higher return for your time spent preparing them. Sellers who sold more than 80% of the items entered into inventory at the prior season’s sale may bring an additional 100 items. Sellers must contact us for approval before entering more than 150 items.
