Changes to seller info for Fall 2010

The Elizabethtown sale just gets bigger and better every season!  In order to bring you a better shopping, selling, & working experience, we have made the following changes to the schedule and procedures.

Registration & item entry deadlines – Seller registration will end at noon on Wednesday, September 8, 2010.  Item entry MUST be complete by noon on Saturday, September 11.  No changes can be made online to worker & check-in schedules after noon on Saturday, September 11, all changes must be made by phone.

Prepayment of seller’s fee & refunded fee sellers who work three shifts – you will need to pay the $10 seller’s fee in order to gain access to the MyConsignment Manager tagging system.  Fees can be paid via Paypal at no extra cost to you during the registration process or you may mail a check.  We will refund this fee at the end of the sale only for sellers who work 12 hours at the sale.

Expanded schedule - We’re offering sellers TWO FULL DAYS for item check-in.  Appointment times are available between 8:30 AM and 7 PM on Monday & Tuesday.  Please make your selection in the MyConsignment Manager system to ensure you can check-in at a time that is convenient for you.

Longer presales – We’re starting presales earlier so our workers & sellers will have more time to shop.   This means you’ll experience lighter crowds & shorter check-out lines, giving you a better shopping experience.   Of course, you may enter the presale at any time after your designated shopping time and we’ll be open until 9 PM that night.

Staggered pick-up times – Sellers can choose to donate all unsold items.  We’ll handle the donation for you and mark those items as donated in the MyConsignment Manager system so you will have that info for your taxes & mail your check to you.  Sellers who choose to pickup any unsold items can do so on Sunday, September 19 between noon and 3 PM.  Closer to the sale we will assign you a suggested one hour time block for pickup in an effort to reduce your wait time.

Guarantee option for items priced over $15 – Starting with the Spring 2010 sales, we will offer a guarantee option for items priced at $15 or more.   All clothing should be brought to check-in GROUPED BY SIZE AND SEX and other similar items grouped together.  For the OPTIONAL guarantee program, items over $15 will require a separate form to be filled out and should be held out separately for check-in.
