We are now registering sellers & volunteer workers for the Murray Spring 2012 Sale.  To sign up, use the “register/log-in” link and make your selections now.  This will be our second sale in Murray and we can’t wait to see everyone again!   Many sellers are already registered and today we’ll begin registering volunteer workers.

With Kentucky Kids Consignment Sales, YOU set the price for your own items, YOU decide if you want your items sold at half-price on the last day of the sale, and YOU receive at least 70% of each item’s selling price. You can choose to donate your unsold items to charity and we’ll handle the donation for you – but YOU still get the tax deduction.  You DO NOT have to be present during the entire sale. You will prepare and tag your own items at home, bring them to check-in, and we’ll do the rest.

Our dedicated crew of volunteer workers is the driving force behind our event.  Without volunteers, the sale could not happen!  We love getting to know you and watching you get to know each other.  We reward our helpers with admission to our exclusive presale events.  Volunteer workers shop before the sale opens to the public and receive first choice of all our quality items! You DO NOT have to be a seller in order to work a volunteer shift and shop the presales. There are several different four hour shifts available.

Tickets are also on sale for our New Parent Presale. This event is for expecting parents or parents with children born after August 15, 2010. Tickets are required for each adult shopping during the event. They are limited and are expected to sell out before the week of the sale. Sellers & workers shop earlier than New Parents, so for the best selection of items at the sale, register to sell or volunteer your time with us.

We are also registering new sponsors. If you are interested in finding out more about our sponsor program and how to get one of the great-looking graphic ads on our website, please email me for the full scoop.

Just three weeks from today, the our dedicated crew of volunteer workers will be reaping the benefits of their labor and shopping EARLY at the Elizabethtown sale.  Will you be among them?

Sign up now using the “register/log-in” link.  If you don’t have an account with MyConsignment Manager, you’ll need to create one, then register for the Spring 2010 sale.  Once you get to the Seller Home Page, choose the “volunteer” tab to see all the available shifts.

Volunteer workers are also invited back on Friday, March 5 at 6 PM to shop early for half-price items.

We have many different four hour shifts available all during the week of the sale, March 1-7.  Volunteer workers help us set up the sale, check-in items, check-out customers, organize the sales floor, and tear down once it’s all over.  We have tasks that can be done while seated on certain shifts, so even those who need to stay off their feet can help.

You do not have to be a seller in order to work at the sale and shop early.  We have several grandmothers, fathers, and moms who just aren’t ready to sell yet who work during sale week.

Single shift – Work ONE shift (four hours) and shop the single shift workers presale at 3 PM on Wednesday, March 3.

Double shift – Work TWO shifts (eight hours) and shop EVEN EARLIER at the double shift workers presale at 2 PM on Wednesday, March 3. Sellers who work two shifts will earn 75% for their items.

Triple shift – Work THREE shifts (twelve hours) and shop EVEN EARLIER at the triple shift workers presale at 1 PM on Wednesday, March 3. Sellers who work three shifts will earn 75% for their items and have their $8 seller’s fee waived.

Only one shopper per pass may attend the presale.  We are unable to provide childcare during your volunteer shift. Please do not bring your children as you will not be able to supervise them properly. Many of our volunteer workers team up to work different shifts and take turns providing childcare for each other.
